Magnetic lashes are the trendy false lashes, and the most special thing for magnetic lashes is that you can apply magnetic lashes without using lash glue. The glue-on false lashes may cause some allergy problems if you have sensitive skin or you are allergic to the lash glue.
And today I want to share with you the hack that you can enjoy the pleasure of DIY magnetic lashes, let’s go to know how to make your own magnetic lashes.
You can have a try if you are a beauty blogger, makeup artist, influencer on social media, and want to slap on some false lashes to get some burning ideas on your daily makeup. I will share with you how I created this pair of magnetic lashes.
Prepare A Pair of False Lashes
Before making magnetic lashes, you need to prepare a pair of regular strip lashes ahead of time, and you can choose your favorite fake lashes, with your loved style, length, curl, and here I can use the mink lashes to be the material for me to make magnetic lashes for my own.
Here are many different styles of mink lashes I can choose, and for me, I love to own the fluffy lashes as the real lashes, so I choose the 25mm mink lashes with big curls, so I can wear these amazing mink lashes when I hang out with friends.
Long mink lashes with natural texture are really helpful to make my eyes look bigger, making me look refreshed spirited, cool.
Magnets for Magnetic Lashes
Then I have to prepare some magnets, and magnets are the most important part of a pair of magnetic lashes. I will purchase some magnets enough for making one pair of magnetic eyelashes. I know that magnetic lashes with 5 magnets are popular on the lash market, so I choose to install 5 mini magnets to a pair of mink lashes.
Go next, where to purchase the magnets for magnetic lashes?
Here I can purchase some magnetic sheets to make mini magnets for creating magnetic eyelashes. The magnetic sheet is soft and thin, and I use the scissor to cut some mini magnetic pieces. And mini magnets for magnetic lashes are small strips because they are sticking to the lash band of false lashes.
You can measure the size of the lash band, and then get the size of magnets to be suitable for the lash band, not thicker than a lash band. And the length of the mini magnet can be 1/15, and this size is suitable for you to place the magnets on the lash band equably.
Install the Magnets to the Mink Lashes
I want to install 5 magnets for half of the mink lashes place 1 magnet in the outer side and inner side of the mink lashes, (the top of the lash band), and then place the other 3 magnets in the middle.
Yes, I am ready to get 5 magnets, then I apply 2 layers of the adhesive eyeliner on the magnets, and stick the magnets to the lash band. In this step, please be careful to stick the magnets, you can use the tweezer to nip the mini magnets, and then place the magnets in the right place of the lash band.
Please make the curve of the magnets the same as the lash band, don’t make the opposite. This is also important, the texture of the magnetic sheet is really soft, and you can buckle the magnets carefully to get closer to the lash band, without any space left between the magnet and lash band.
Adjust the Position of Magnets
And them adjust the angle of magnets on the lash band, to ensure that the magnets of two sides of magnetic lashes can match well, without the dislocation problem.
Pay attention to the magnetism of magnets,
Enjoy Your Magnetic Lashes
